A short, plain explanation of what happens to your information when you use this site.
This site is run directly by Erli Gurra, a violin maker based in Tirana, Albania. There is no third-party agency, ad network, or marketing company involved in running it. If you have a question about anything below, email contact@erligurra.com.
The only information this site asks for is what you choose to type into the contact form on the Contact page: your name, your email address, the instrument you're asking about, and your message.
When you submit the form, it's sent as a single email to Erli's own inbox
(contact@erligurra.com), hosted on an Albanian mail server, so he can reply to you.
It is not saved into a database on this website, not added to a mailing list, and not shared,
sold, or passed on to any third party. The basis for processing it is your own consent in
submitting the form, and — where your message is about commissioning or repairing an
instrument — the fact that it's a necessary step you've asked for before any work or quote can
happen.
Your message stays in Erli's inbox for as long as it's needed to answer you and handle any follow-up — in practice, the same as any other business email, until you ask for it to be deleted.
No. Filling in the form is entirely optional. Without a name, an email address, and a message, though, Erli has no way to get back to you.
This site does not use cookies, analytics, or any advertising or tracking scripts. Nothing about your visit is recorded or followed once you leave the page.
Like effectively every website, the hosting server that serves these pages keeps standard technical logs (things like IP address, browser type, and page requested) for security and troubleshooting. These are routine web-server records, not something this site collects or reads for tracking purposes.
Under Albanian law (Law no. 124/2024 "On the Protection of Personal Data"), you can ask Erli, by emailing contact@erligurra.com, to:
He'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with how a request is handled, you have the right to complain to Albania's data protection authority, the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Protection of Personal Data (Komisioneri për të Drejtën e Informimit dhe Mbrojtjen e të Dhënave Personale) — idp.al.
If anything about how this site handles information ever changes (for example, if a booking tool or analytics were added in the future), this page will be updated to reflect it.
